DOE ATVM Direct Loan to Syrah Technologies for the Vidalia Active Anode Material Facility (July 2022)

The U.S. Department of Energy's Loan Programs Office issued a $102.1 million direct loan to Syrah Technologies, LLC under the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) program to expand the Syrah Vidalia active anode material facility in Vidalia, Louisiana. LPO offered a conditional commitment to lend up to $107 million on 18 April 2022 and announced the closed loan on 27 July 2022 as the first ATVM loan since 2011. The DOE project page states all its information is current as of July 2022.
