Business Finland EUR 84.6 Million Grant to Fortum Battery Recycling for the Harjavalta Expansion (July 2025)

Fortum announced on 10 July 2025 that Business Finland had granted EUR 84.6 million toward expanding the Harjavalta hydrometallurgical battery recycling operation from 3,000 tonnes of black mass processed per year to up to 28,000 tonnes per year.
