Export Finance Australia Critical Minerals Facility Loan of up to US$40 Million to EcoGraf (February 2022)
EcoGraf holds one of the first two loans approved under the Australian Government's Critical Minerals Facility: reporting of the 2 February 2022 announcement puts EcoGraf's share at up to US$40 million to fund expansion of its HF-free Battery Anode Material facility in Western Australia. The Western Australian Government stated two days later that the Australian Government had given conditional approval to loan up to $56 million to expand the facility, which would have an initial capacity of 5,000 tonnes per annum with the loan supporting expansion to 20,000 tonnes per annum. The facility has not been built and no source loaded records the loan closing or being drawn.
