Talga Nunasvaara South Graphite Mine (Vittangi)
Talga Group's Nunasvaara South natural graphite mine near Vittangi in Kiruna Municipality, Norrbotten County, Sweden — the feedstock end of the vertically integrated Vittangi Anode Project, whose concentrate is destined for Talga's anode refinery at Luleå. The mine is fully permitted and pre-construction: the Mining Inspectorate approved the Exploitation Concession in October 2024 and the Swedish Supreme Court dismissed all leave-to-appeal requests against the Environmental and Natura 2000 permit on 31 October 2024, but Final Investment Decision is still pending as of April 2026. Talga plans to extract an average of 100,000 tonnes of high-grade natural graphite ore per year over a six-month mining season, concentrating on site year-round. Inclusion rests on documented allied-government financial involvement in the integrated project: a EUR 70 million EU Innovation Fund grant (2023 call, project TalnodeONE) and a EUR 150 million European Investment Bank board-approved debt facility, currently undrawn — both confirmed in Talga's own ASX disclosure loaded this pass; no EIB project-register entry was loaded, so the facility is recorded on the company's statement. The 100,000 t/year figure is mined ore, not product, so it is recorded as an assertion rather than a capacity claim.

Nunasvaara South mine and on-site concentrator
Permitted
Graphite extraction with on-site concentration, planned at an average 100,000 t/year of high grade natural graphite ore over a six-month annual mining season (the concentrator runs year-round) to limit impact on reindeer herding; concentrate is destined for Talga's Luleå anode refinery. The corpus carries a single natural-route upstream material term, so both the run-of-mine graphite ore and the on-site concentrate are recorded against natural-graphite-concentrate, following the material usage already established for Vittangi ore on the Talga Luleå record.
