Iluka Resources Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery
Iluka Resources' rare earths refinery at Eneabba, Western Australia, described by the Australian Government as Australia's first integrated rare earths refinery. Backed by a A$1.25 billion Export Finance Australia Critical Minerals Facility loan (April 2022) and up to A$475 million in additional financing (December 2024). Under construction, with initial feed from Iluka's monazite-rich Eneabba stockpile and planned light and heavy separated rare earth oxide outputs; trade press reports commissioning on track for 2027.
